Small, bright and private studio in Moabit for at least 3 months. It is possible to take over the long-term contract (3 yrs). I am only giving it up due to recent professional changes. The room is peaceful and located on the first floor within a bigger space with two more studios. Rent includes all costs, gas, electricity and WLAN. The room is private, with a door to be closed and great also for conference calling. Although the studio is small, the rent includes a third of the shared spaces, which includes the hallway, a fully equipped kitchen and a big bathroom, which has often been transformed into a darkroom for film development or dye room. Work tables are already set up there. The shared areas include about 30sqm and have been used for storage, or setting up temporary work stations during a project, but also for hosting lunches and dinners. The studio has big windows: Around midday, the sun shines straight into the room, but there's indirect light all day. The space is available furnished or unfurnished (to be discussed). The studio is great for writing, editing moving image work and any computer work. It has been used by sculptors and painters too.
