≈ Smaragdgrün (Can Vega-/Gordiolagrün)
Zwei verschieden grüne Lampenschirme (fast Smaragdgrün) der Glasmanufaktur Vidrias Gordiola in Algaida, Mallorca, wurden zu Pigment für die Malerei in sechs Korngrößen zermahlen. Dann wurde es mit Bindemittel angereichert und mehrschichtig auf der Wohnzimmerwand des Hauses der Sammler auf Mallorca zu diesem Grün verdichtet. Orange Partikel eines Autorücklichtes, beim Wandern in der Tramuntana gefunden, bilden etwas Kontrast. Die Achsen der Fensterausblicke lenken die Augen auf das Bild der Landschaft. Die Farbmalerei ergänzt nun seine Farbpalette, das Spiel mit dem Tageslichtwechsel braucht sie dabei unbedingt, um maximal zu strahlen. Das Glashandwerk, ein uraltes Gewerbe auf Mallorca, droht mangels Einfallsreichtum und zuviel Traditionalismus auszusterben. Es war früher die direkte Konkurrenz zu Murano.
Two different green lampshades (almost emerald green) of the glass workshop Vidrias Gordiola in Algaida, Mallorca, were ground into pigment for painting in six grain sizes. Then it was enriched with binder and compacted on the wall of the living room of the collector‘s house in Mallorca to this green. Orange particles of a car back light, found while hiking in the Tramuntana, makes some contrast. The axes of the window views direct the eyes to the image of the landscape. The colour painting now complements its colour palette, and the game with the change of daylight is absolutely necessary in order to shine as much as possible. The glass craftsmanship, an ancient trade in Mallorca, is in danger of dying out due to lack of ingenuity and too much traditionalism. It used to be the direct competition to Murano.
